If you follow Zelda decompilation projects, a new experimental PCVR adaptation of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has surfaced, showcasing what is possible when modern VR tooling meets static recompilation. Built on top of BlueWake, the project lets players experience the game in virtual reality with both first-person and third-person views.

The work-in-progress demo highlights several physical interactions tailored for tracked controllers in first-person mode. Players can use physical climbing with hand and arm movements, swim through water by moving their arms, and reach out to grab and interact with objects. The adaptation builds directly on the work of Chris, Elliott, and other BlueWake contributors who made the underlying recompilation possible.

For now, hobbyists should note that this PCVR adaptation has not been publicly released. Visuals, performance, and features remain under testing and improvement.
