Someone Asked Claude to Build Apple CarPlay for the PS Vita
An AI-assisted project brings a CarPlay-style app to the PS Vita via streaming, requiring an Android companion device.

An AI-assisted homebrew project aims to bring a CarPlay-style experience to the PS Vita, letting you stream phone data straight to your handheld if you are into wild console experiments. Developer inigosui dropped an initial version of VitaCar on Reddit, built with the help of Claude.
This first release is raw and untested by the creator. Running it requires an Android device with a specific companion APK installed alongside the Vita homebrew app. Data streams from the phone over to the Vita, though real-world stability remains a mystery since the author hasn’t fully tested the setup yet.
